JFD, I guess any revenue in the unearned account is really
old sales---analysts may just be looking at the "current" sales.
The stock should not drop after earnings in any case, IMHO. This would just be due to all the negative possibilities (present and future) already being discounted in the price. EX--DOJ, Star Office, Windows2k delay etc.

Might be ready to start a move upward. I feel kind of stupid having dumped most of my holdings late day when it rebounded. It had not made up a large percentage of my holdings lately anyways---but maybe it should.
I had been undecided on this stock but starting to feel that the positive possibilities are not reflected in the price. I plan to buy tomorrow and the days following.

I had not been holding too much MSFT lately but it might be one of the best stocks going into Y2K in the tech sector. As soon as we get the "facts" from Judge Jackson, the stock should rally since only the worst case scenario is factored in, IMHO.

Now is the time to buy.
