i like that signal from the T-bills...they often precede moves in the long end. btw, there's this theory floating around that the bond may be the victim of carry trades of all sorts unwinding. i actually think the Fed and the ECB may have given the hedge funds a period of grace by not raising last time. reports on the de-leveraging are scattered, but something along those lines is definitely happening. imagine what happens if the South Africans get their gold cartel off the ground...all hell will break loose if they do that.
