Randy -- where do you see the Nas in a week's time? Two weeks? A month? Are you buying the dips now?

I don't know where I see the Nas going over the next few months, or even the next few years. I would be unpleasantly surprised if it is trading below 2600 two years from now, as would most people. I will definitely have purchased additional shares in several different companies by that point in time. In fact, I buy shares every month through a number of DRIPs (including NOK, INTC, PG, XON, and ONE (!)); I also hope to buy additional shares in RATL and CNET before the end of the year; I think RATL is in a great spot to grow with the software industry, and that CNET provides services that more and (many) more people and companies will find useful. I think both companies will grow pretty consistently in almost any market environment. Not that they won't have down years. And not that I won't sell them if I decide I don't like the way their future looks after all.

How about you, GST? Do you own shares of stocks for the long term?

Randy
