Hmmm.. about that "out" and "oot" thing.... just about everyone that I know says "about" as "ah-bow-tah"...with the "bow" said like "bow-wow".... I remember arriving at a friend's place in California a couple of years ago to be told,.... "You don't sound AT ALL like a Canadian... you don't say a-boot!" "What?" "A-boot!! Everyone knows that Canadians say a-bout like a-boot!" "No way!!! I've NEVER heard it said that way!!" BTW, he said "yeah" like "yawwwwww"... and to think that they think WE talk funny up here!!.... Sheesh....
