They show 35% - almost EXACTLY what I calculated 9 months ago (34%).

- 4000 wafers/week * 13 weeks

- 81 sq. mm. die size

- 85% of 8" wafer has complete die sites.

You do the math !

Same report as the one you posted here two days ago, but with slightly updated info -

IBM is borrowing a page from Dell's playbook by
pulling its Aptiva PC from store shelves and
selling it exclusively online.

Starting January 1, consumers in North America
will have to go to the ShopIBM Web site to get an
Aptiva.


Big Blue described the decision to pull its Aptiva

retreat."
