Microforum to acquire Two Door Communications Inc.
TORONTO, Oct. 19 /CNW/ - Microforum Inc. (TSE:MCF) is
pleased to announce that it has entered into a preliminary
non-binding letter of intent to acquire Two Door Communications
Inc., a Toronto-based new media and communications company.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed but the
purchase price is expected to consist of cash and common
shares. The letter of intent is subject to a number of
conditions including completion of due diligence, entering into
definitive documentation, and receipt of regulatory and
director approvals. The parties expect to close the
transaction on or before November 12, 1999.
Two Door is a profitable company that offers a broad range
of communications solutions from online marketing and
communications programs, to driving online sales through
traditional advertising channels. Two Doors award winning
content has attracted well respected clients such as Dell
Computer, Xerox, Netcom, Absolut Vodka, MGI, First Interactive
Computer College, Balisoft, Brightspark and Softquad.
Two Door will be integrated into Microforum, with the
primary focus on e-commerce marketing and playing a key role in
the definition, management and deployment of URL marketing
campaigns.
