Orion is another Fixed Satellite Services(FSS) division of Loral. They "specialize" in data. Internet connectivity and VSAT applications are their bag. Right now, they have Orion 1, Apstar IIR, Ku-band transponders on Agila II, and a pending launch of Orion II into the disputed 12.5 degrees West slot. That's it for launches for Orion, although they do have 6(?) Ka-band orbital slots that might prove valuable. The questionable part of Orion is the nearly $1 billion in debt(non-recourse to Loral) that they have with a slim chance of covering the interest payments without help from papa Loral.
