And the used car field could be a gold mine.

Any serious used car purchaser needs all the help he can get. (The Motley Fool can help on that BTW)

Also I agree (as do the authors of the GG) that EBay is a Godzilla. The authors use it as an example and run a numerical score on it.

But for me personally, the careful, thorough job that Bruce Brown has done on this thread is not only more up to date and realistic, but superior from an analytical standpoint.

And coming from the Mike Buckley school of Fools, I find Bruce's use of the Fool criteria as a check extremely helpful as another way to think about EBay.

Look forward to his analysis of Amazon which I hope will be done in a similar way.
