I can't speak to short term investors or day traders...just not my thing. We long termers, during down periods, have to remember why we INVESTED in a particular company. And yes we get nervous when our stock prices go down and we give ear to the dire rantings and warnings of panic sellers. And we develop memory loss. About this time last year Dell tanked $16 one day if memory serves. But we, and the companies we invest, have no control over acts of God disasters or after dinner speeches by Fed chairmen. These are temporary events and are not a reflection on company business models or their management. If Dell was a good company to be invested in yesterday or today then it will be a good company tomorrow.

If these type daily and weekly fluctuations make one crazy then perhaps best not to follow SI or CNBC. Can cause one to take ill advised action. It is true that the individual investor can't time the market. Just can't. We lose our cash when we try. So, relax. Dell will be just fine. If and when the business model fails and Dell no longer can meet long term growth and profit expectations then it will be time to move on. But not tomorrow.

>>An incredible time to buy for those that know what DELL has been planning...<<

Why don't you disclose what DELL is planning.Who are"those" you refer to when you state"for those who know what DELL has been planning"?

>>It will be fun to be part of this!<<

I don't believe shareholders had much fun all this year and especially the past 2 days and tomorrow looks even worse. Not many chuckles in a flat stock performance.

>>...DELL won't miss this earnings<<

The Street won't reward DELL for just meeting earnings so whats the point of your statement?

Kemble Re <<DELL won't miss this earnings...Nowhere has DELL warned they will miss...>>

So why did they warn about margins?

No matter how you cut it, DELL warned street does not like it. Pretty simple.
