Right DR, THAT's the problem: you were buried amongst the bears!! As was I?? So, with the Dell blowup, where do we go from here? I have to say I was amazed at how the big techs snapped back today, especially SUNW and Csco. Are semi's fading a bit? Probably a fakeout. I will have more money in a week, and I may put it in soon,

drsvelte: Sorry to read you feel that way. I think the MDA thread remains fairly cordial and respectful. The bears do have strong opinions and offer up a lot of support for their stance.

The bullish argument to the contraire is there, but seems to be delivered with a lot less conviction. From my perspective, the bulls have a harder time making their case using either fundamental or technical analysis at this time. The Market cycle is working against them.

I don't subscribe to the bearish attitudes that come across as hostile toward bulls. I suspect a few bears have missed out on a lot of the up move in the Market over the past few years and some sour grapes juice may be leaking out. However, MDA could be considered wildly bullish compared to a couple of other threads I read from time to time on SI.

I personally don't care which way the Market goes as long as I am on the right side. Actually, I prefer the bullish direction, as it is more profitable for me. However, this Market is getting very long in the tooth and it would not be prudent to ignore the warning signs. IMO

There is money to be made in the volatility of the topping process (or consolidation process from a bullish perspective), if one is confident he or she can get trades executed in a timely manner.

Good trading...

Regards,
LG
