There must have been a good reason for that arrogant PR.
Fisher must be very confident as to the value of his company and his private holdings, if he decides to "damage" the stock.
Perhaps it was a message to some insiders, whom he was unable to control. Perhaps he knew who, from his own staff, was pumping the stock and it was his way to disassociate himself and stop any further manipulations. The insiders may also be some associated company, possibly paid for services in shares and being impatient to turn them into cash.
He wants his stock to trade on the news, not the rumor.
One of the ways to look at this PR is, that great people are often arrogant, they don't care about good or bad press. Perhaps it was a true message, "the company is great, I can afford any arrogance I want, things will be happening only when I chose so, nobody will be manipulating me or my stock".

I don't have to fool myself into any desperate hope. I am still in the green on this one, my position is only 11K shares anyway, no big deal.
Somehow I feel, that this one is a high flyer.
