Dell was down to 37. Maybe things will look a bit brighter later tomorrow. Right now Globex NAZ futures are down 1550 and those will hopefully look better by morning.

Dell said again it's a short term problem and sales are strong. They will reduce the memory in their cpts and by the 4th qtr things should be back to normal.

One analyst thought it may affect earnings by 4 cents so Niles estimate of 2 cents less, actually looks good. Hm.

<its a good thing I didn't buy---->

Looking at the price chart for Dell, it was at a high in September ($50) when a bunch of insiders sold. Wish they would have told me to sell too. This really hurts!!

XRX and UIS were severely punished for earnings warnings. But I think and hope DELL holds up above $35. It is scary to investors that no $ figures were given for the shortfall. There will be a lot of speculation and usually the mind runs wild and to the downside.
