for folks looking for a good long term hold (although not very exciting) both safeway-swy and supervalu-svu appear poised for good steady long term growth. that and the oil and gas sector. the fundamentals are substantially improved. there are concerns about natural gas supply this winter. zacks has texaco for their pick of the month in oct. kinda dull but safe investing.not unlike cs have a pleasant evening charlie
