Let's take a vote and decide amongst ourselves what Brian should say. That way he doesn't have to come up with an explanation himself. Well, I'm not sure that we need a vote, but why don't we list possible responses and let Bryan choose for himself? :) 1) No one is as mortified as I am over this horrific state of affairs. You members mean so much to me. How can I express this so you will understand the depth of my emotions? I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I'm really, utterly sorry and if you would only tell me what I can do to make it up to you, I'll move heaven and earth to make it happen. Promise. You know I love you, baby. 2) The truth is that we had a power outage here in Seattle. A really fierce storm. Lots of lightening. We forgot to hook up those UPC units, and well... stuff happens. 3) Get a life, scumbag. Do you actually think I *care* about your pathetic addiction to the site?? Does it look like I'm "in touch" with my FEMININE SIDE? Huh? Does it? Well, DOES IT? 4) It was Brad's fault. 5) I can't disclose confidential information regarding users, but I can tell you that it has something to do with a spaceship and a giant, 50 foot tall alien reptile. 6) I was kidnapped by the (hehe) "Guardians of the Classic Site" and all hell broke loose during my absence. 7) What are you [hic] talking about? The [hic] site was down? [hic] 8) It was Jeff's fault. 9) Well, truth be told... the servers went down when we were working out a few bugs with the new interface, and unfortunately the ummm... back-up was then lost... and ahhh... then we found the [cough] zip discs... and errr... 10) Stop-Your-Whine-ing-Cause-We're -Livin' the Vida Loca! 11) I really don't recall. I don't remember. The site wasn't down. Based on how I am defining the word "down" that is. It wasn't exactly up, but I wouldn't say it was "down". Let me speak with my attorney on this. 12) I took da boys down to da bowlin' alley and closed up da shop. You got a problem with dat? . . . .
