I've got colored bedsheets, so usually I use Biz, which is an enzyme-based cleaner, and works very well. But the formula you mention looks like it would work great on the boys' dirty gym socks, which all have tan stains on the feet.

What can work on blood is straight cold ammonia. Oh - and never ever mix ammonia with bleach. Instant war gas.
