Les--Inhumane slaughters have been a sad legacy of this century. By the rules of the thread I have tried to limit myself to the contributors of the century. In so far as stopping the slaughter the Accords have not succeeded obviously. What they have achieved as far as the US is concerned is for us to reduce (sad to say not stop) supporting tin horn dictators, despots, and tyrants simply because they are our purported 'friends' or anticommunists. Much of the hostility toward the US from Iran was for our support for the Shah. Iranians there suffered at his hands and blamed us for much of it. Druss
