"Bob, I agree that new born babes are without sin." -Why? "The problem,IMO, is that no human remains that way for very long." and Why? If we're born without sin then there is no need for baptism... until we sin, which is born of what if we are sinless to begin with? I believe Jesus died for our sin, not sins... which is to say that sin which we are all born with (sin confered from Adam & Eve's transgression) is what Jesus died for. From that sin which is in all of us we commit others. So these additional individual sins are also able to be forgiven in Christ. -maouse
