Zoltan--That is more subscribing to the myth of the external defeat of the Russian Empire. It collapsed internally, all of the reasons that people were anticommunist in the first place played a part. The oppressiveness of the regime, nationalism of the peoples they were subjegating, desire for a better life from the masses, the cynicism of the people toward their government, and the failure of communism to meet the needs of the populace. You can't say all these things are wrong with the system and that is why it is the "Evil Empire" and then give all the credit for the collapse to Reagan's blank check to our military. I did like Sun yat-Sen and Lech Walesca from that site though. Druss
