I was intreagued at getting into Dell - but for the last couple of months I have had very bad experiences ordering equipment on my Dell account - not just CPU's but monitors and peripherals... I have just spent 10 days trying to purchase 2 21 inch monitors. Ordering on line failed, faxed PO's getting lost. Disappearing sales reps. with no replacements.... One high end workstation with 21 inch monitor was delivered with Win98 instead of NT... I went to install a client NT and called tech. support to get urls to drivers etc... and tech support insisted I send back the CPU, monitor and speaker system - and they would re-send an NT system back... They would void warranty if I loaded NT... and I could not just send the CPU back... I had to sent CPU, 21 inch monitor and speakers back.....cost me a bundle...esp. the monitor. Seems likea crazy way to do business.

Hey Jim you are a bigger idiot. You listened to Mohan.
If you are in the market long term you have nothing to lose. If you are day trading, that is the price you pay.
