This is great news...Devine film wins Gemini Devine Entertainment Corp DVN Shares issued 11,355,360 1999-11-05 close $0.27 Monday Nov 8 1999 Mr. Maral Bablanian reports A Devine Entertainment Corporation film, Edison: The Wizard of Light, was awarded the Gemini for best children's or youth program or series by The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. The film, produced by David Devine and Richard Mozer, is part of the company's The Inventors' Specials series and is currently airing on the Odyssey Channel in the United States. The series premiered on HBO in the U.S. and Family Channel in Canada. The Inventors' Specials, along with The Composers' Specials, Beethoven Lives Upstairs and the company's new Artists' Specials series, are broadcast in over 60 countries around the world. The annual Gemini awards, Canada's equivalent of the Emmys, celebrate excellence in English-language television.
