Economic Update
19-Oct-99 08:42:28 The Futures market has rocketed higher on news that the September CPI report was in-line with expectations, rising 0.4% last month. The Core CPI, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, also met expectations, expanding by 0.3% in September. The S&P Futures are trading 11.5 points higher from yesterday's close while fair value is at negative 2.5 points. This roughly translates into a gain of over 100 points for the DJIA at the open.

The report on September Housing Starts was below the consensus figure, falling to 1.62 million annualized units compared to the Thomson Global Markets consensus estimate of 1.65.

Can I get your opinion on MU?
Appears that in light of recent events, we can see a move down to $56-ish. Can you throw some of your TA magic on this scenario? I'm looking to buy some 6 month MU CALLS.

TIA
