The problem is that liberals view entitlements as a sacred cow and demonize anyone who would dare to question those programs or even worse to attempt to cut them. The bigger problem is that most of the liberals won't even pay for those programs, creating all kinds of tax loopholes for themselves to wriggle out of paying for these programs.
