hey tom, hope your system's doing better (wow, is that a great idea for hallmark cards or what?) any feedback for us on memturbo? gottfried installed it and at the risk of misrepresenting his findings, i believe he's not too impressed. otoh, i just installed it an hour ago and i like it real well. i hasten to add that i may just be experiencing beginner's luck, if there is such a thing with software. <g3> whenever i load a new app i hit the hotkey as instructed and it seems to defrag and recover ram as advertised. but time and continued use will be the determining factor. according to the memturbo faq's, settings can be too aggressive and actually slow the system down. they recommend low target levels for best recovery and performance, and they say "a good compromise takes a while to discover". :) mark
