Robert, I totally understand. . . I stood on the sidelines watching KTEL move from $4 bucks. . .and scoffed. . .saying "these are not original recordings. . .they are re-makes" . . . ."nobody listens to this stuff" . . . . "they are not going to make any money". . . "they should be thankful they aren't a penny stock". . . . And I continued watching from the sidelines. . .as it climbed to what $80 bucks or something like that?. . . and now they are back to the pennies. My principles, having been in record biz all my life, kept me from making one heck of a swing trade. . . that was a year and a half ago. . . and tons of experience later. . . Not to say, "don't let your ethics stand in the way of your greed." . . .but somehow we need to strike a balance. . . if we are long-termers, we need to stand by our ethics. . . but if we are swing traders, concern ourselves with the company can get in the way of the trade. . . it really depends on the person though. There is a proverb that illustrates this point that goes something like. . .If someone that thinks eating meat is a sin, don't offer it to them or have it yourself, when they visit with you. . . or you will influence them to sin themselves by the example you set. Respect what is a sin to them, in other words. . .so you don't contribut to their stumble. Now at the same time, I won't trade gaming, sex, tobacco or similar mob oriented stocks. . . simply out of principal . . . but I would not advise others not to trade them. . . You do have me curious as to WHY you feel Rite-Aid is uncool. . .is it the cookie-cutter approach to pharmacy? [just guessing] Rande Is
