US crude stockpiles are expected to have increased 2.0-2.5 million barrels last week, brokers and analysts said. Inventories of gasoline are anticipated to have risen 0.5-1.0 million barrels last week, while distillates are expected to have remained flat or decreased slightly by 0.5 million barrels. Refinery runs are expected to have remained flat or dropped 0.5 percentage point.

HoHa!!! Tomas - Thank you - Any PTEN longs have to read the article Tomas put up from Simmons & Co.

I also liked the part:

"The relationship between production and drilling is strong and the industry can't grow production without drilling. The recent recovery in gas directed drilling will be too little too late to meaningfully impact 1999 production. Through the second quarter the degree of falling production was becoming apparent."

and:

"With the ill-effects of lower spending and depletion starting to surface, there is doubt that we can fill storage."
