in how they (MM's)
can make bank on market spreads,

i think you could have bought/sold
@ .1825/.625 about 500 times today,
already....and no i don't care about 8ths and quarters and teenies....

Happens all the time, Sir Francis. The COMPAQ management , in my opinion, did the same thing to the retail investors about 2 years ago... They informed all the insiders about upcoming earnings problems, and kept the rank and file investors in the dark by saying they were "comfortable" with estimates from the street showing a profit... In the meantime, the insiders were selling like mad... Pfieffer, the CEO got fired some time later.... Investors lost confidence in CPQ management... CPQ has never been the same since...
