IPO's now trading SIFY MSO UNCA...WWFE any time now.

Premium opens on SIFY and MSO (gag!) have me on the sidelines watching, again ...many ipos in the last month equal dilution = caution and selectivity...SIFY , India ISP at the top of my radar list, down 10+ from open.

Other stocks, loaded on BYND, SIEB (900K float half short come on, i rarely see such upside time bombs !)

bought some INSW yesterday at 16 1/4 as LT hold, missed EELN, cheap IMHO.

VERT amazing trader , can make a living on it. INTM the same story 15 to 18 to 15 to 19 ad infintum.

Dont forget NAMCW, get it below 1 1/4 for 2 3/4 sell like clock work.

WOW! A "key on the computer terminal that would raise prices in increments of a buck or so at a time" ? ? I heard K-Mart had similar programs written into their systems. Amazing. . .

I have said many times [but don't think I have ever posted] that one day I sincerely believe there will be a college course offered on ways of ripping off the consumer using computers, in such a way that they cannot find out. . . or just playing the odds game. I joke that the class would be called "BankAmeriCrime". Made popular by the methods they allegedly use to withdraw cash, while confusing the customer. . . in similar ways as the Three Card Monty game does.

Accounts have tried to prove it. . .but the banks have a way of focusing your attention in one place, while pulling it from another. . . especially if you have deposits, withdrawls, etc. for exactly the same amount. . . .suddenly you see a "mistaken" entry which is reversed out . . for that same amount. . . .then of course banks credit the debits and debit the credits and this cancels out that and that cancels out this and presto chango, "your account balances out perfectly, sir . . . . NEXT!"

I do the grocery shopping [therapeutic?] . . and I never forget a price . . . so stores cringe when they see me coming. . . they know they cannot rip me off. .. .instead, I wait until they are finished, then tell them which ones are incorrect. .. . [store policy usually states that they give you your money back AND the product on mismarked items, though that is NOT why I am so strict!]. . . . When shopping for a house full of teenagers, believe me it pays bigtime. . . I buy 2 or everything and 6 of most, so it is common that I will get enough back in mismarked items [and they run and check each one] . . that I can often afford dinner for two at Red Lobster [or a dozen Meals-On-Wheels to whomever]. ..with what I save.

Now to many that sounds anal. Perhaps. . . but as I said earlier. . . .you can play with an unlevel playing field, but don't you dare steal my money. . . not when there are so many people that are in dire need of food to eat. . . because by robbing those that donate, you are robbing those that are truly in need.

It is a fascinating topic. . . and I welcome all such stories. . . in fact, I have an idea. . . .?? HMMmm. . .?
