I wouldn't assume that the size of the file means any extra features. I'm sure the file is specific to the card, so just stick with the right driver for the right card.

As for the IRQ question, I would normally suggest just going to the Device Manager (Windows key + pause/break key is a shortcut) where you can change the IRQ settings, assuming there are no conflicts. But I remember having trouble with IRQ 12 years back, as it was one of those that couldn't be moved easily. (At least in Win95) But perhaps someone else will chime in, as my memory in that area is faulty. I was already using NT when Win 98 came out, and I really haven't spent any time with it, since those first months.
