Microsoft will not miss estimates! A couple
of quarters ago they warned that they would
be a little short because of revenue from
Office coupons not being recognized until
the following quarter. They still beat estimates
with 'investment income'. They haven't warned this
quarter, so it's in the bag. I'm looking for 37 cents.

>>MSFT has been down all morning vs LU up all the way. Both will report earning after close today. May someone knows MSFT will miss the earning???? Sam.<<

If Microsoft misses the earnings today after the bell we may see a repeat of the 1987 stock market melt down tomorrow. There is much disappointment given the fact that the market is not driven by any solid leadership. The big tech growth stocks fail to rally and only go down when the market retreats. I would say this is very bearish. Dell reporting an earnings warning last night is also very troubling.
