BrianValentine, The scripture is Psalms 118:24. But to get the full understanding of it, I would suggest reading all of Psalms 118. God Bless, C Kahn

Dear Brian, How are you? The verse is in Psalm 118 and is considered to mean the day of the Trimuphal entry to Jerusalem. Psalm 118 24: This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. 25: Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. 26: Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD. 27: God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar. Verse 25 says Hoshianna! Save us now! 26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, Baruch ha ba bashem Adonai,(a term used for Messiah) Verse 27, Gods light shines on them and with boughs in their hands they join in the feastival procession to the horns of the altar. The altar would rule out Tabernacles so the boughs could be the palm branches as the King rode in on the donkey from Zechariah. Just some thoughts for consideration, Nancy
