Street Advisor sent me this Email this AM. Apparently they warned and I paid no attention at the time....
<<Remember This? Dell To Preannounce Quarter Kevin Prigel

Dell Computers NASDAQ:DELL
Technology | Quote | News | Research

From October 6th, at 2:25 PM (CST):

StreetAdvisor.com sources, that are believed to be reliable, have indicated that Dell will preannounce an earnings short fall for the quarter. Problems cited for the shortfall include supply problems, both in LCD panels (for laptops), server components, and DRAM due to the Taiwan earthquake.

The reasons cited for the preannouncement make sense from the view of an analyst. A preannouncement would have major negative implications for Dell, and the rest of the computer industry.

Stay tuned for more information...>>>

Nice rally in the last 15 minutes. Bulls cannot buy enough DELL shares because it is so damn cheap. INTC was so damn cheap at 73 on the day when it missed the quarters. It also dipped about 6-7% on its first day, right? It has not been a week since then and where is the Street darling right now? Trying not to break the resistance at 65.

INTC put has been a great gift so far. DELL put will also benefit bears in the short term.

Once the bulls stop letting the emotions run wild and stop showing who is boss, DELL is going to make a nice run toward 33-35. Come to defend 33 then, DELL bulls. The Fed is sure to hike the rate again in November. With earning season about over after MSFT announces tonight, DELL has enough room to go down.

"They do shoot(short) the horses, don't they?"
