Well, my understanding is that Corvis is planning an IPO, and as to the second part of that question, only Chambers knows for sure... <g>
Actually CSCO buying them would not surprise me as it fits the Cerent/Monterey MO of buying a firm it in which it already owns a percentage. And I would think that would be a negative for Lucent buying them, but then again, maybe not-Lucent recently bought a firm in which Cisco owned stock, so who knows?
