Glenn or Dale: You guys have a good handle on Internet play in Europe. Does either of you have any comment on the EURO-E-BAY, (QXL.COM) QXLC:Nasdaq. From what I can gather, QXLC is running head-to-head with eBay across Europe. If I only had the money when I saw eBay at US$16/share and then watched it rise to US$650/share (Cdn.$1000/share). before the 3 to 1 split. Cdn.$25,000 for 1000 eBay shares could have picked me up a cool Cdn.$1 million.!!! There was a wicked show on 60 Minutes showing how the person-to-person e-bay auction operates. It showed this lady from Texas (not that one) on her last legs financially and she spent her last $4,000 on a computer and a digital camera or scanner. She started selling flea market stuff over eBay and the cheques started rolling in to her, she was cleaning up the P/P auction. Before that she was nearly on welfare. I cannot see why this won't become quite a craze across Europe, and hopefully QXL becomes a big winner.
