November NG $3.05, December NG $3.23, oil over $22, market prepared for horrible API numbers, EnP's blowing away estimates. Sheesh - it just doesn't get any better than this! For the first time in weeks I am actually excited to be in the EnP's. If the API numbers come in normal (as opposed to what the "experts" are predicting) watch out!!

U.S. to attack Iran?
by: Captainfreddy1 21809 of 21891
The prestigious "Intelligence Digest" of England that predicted the Iraqi attack on Kuwait writes that there are reports that the U.S. is planning an attack on Iran by inducing the United Arab Emirates to attack the Iranian forces on the disputed island of Abu Musa to trigger a counterattack by Iran that would prompt the U.S. to come to the aid of the U.A.E. under the US-UAE defence pact. Iran would then be knocked out Iraqi style by the U.S. "destroying its economy, its ability to exploit its oil resources, and its armed forces, just as has been done with Iraq." (Our sources indicate that the Iraqi leadership notified our ambassador about their intentions in Kuwait, and did not receive any discouraging words. They interpreted this as a green light not realizing that this was a trap the U.S. would use to destroy them with.) The U.S. would expect its European and Arabian allies to join in the effort. The U.S. has been following the policy in the middle east of destroying countries who are building weapons of mass destruction for defensive purposes as Pakistan and India. Syria would probably be next on the list with over l,000 missiles armed with chemical warheads. The U.S. is also concerned with the rapprochement of Iran and Saudi Arabia, and thus the Gulf Cooperation Council. This policy obviously bears the stamp of made in Israel. Our own sources in the U.S. confirm the report, but say it is old news, and the planning has been afoot for at least two years. However, they believe that Clinton will not sign off on it because the Senate and House have turned isolationist, and would never put up with the attack, and the President's lame duck status makes him particularly weak. Intelligence Digest says the attack could occur as early as November, and London based Arab sources are circulating it out of fear that such action is imminent, and are trying to head it off. They cite "a leaked European intelligence report." We shall see who is right. Our own take on this dangerous and outrageous course of planned action is that we could be back to l973 when the Arabian oil embargo took place, and this could be the consequence of trying to implement this mad policy. It would cause the oil price to rise, the stock market to fall, and gold to rise after oil as in the l970s. It would this time lead to the overthrow of the power of Manhattan that it nearly did in l973.
