New CPUs from Intel soon
My "inside source" has been sending me all sorts of information recently ... like this nifty tidbit: "processors to be Introduced on 10/25/99 Pentium III processors 733, 700, 667, 650, 600EB, 600E, 533 MHz in the S.E.C.C.2 package and Pentium III processors 550E and 500E MHz in the Flip Chip PGA package." **Very** interesting....looks like there's a reason for AMD's recent announcement of price drops on the Athlon line ... hmmm ... should be interesting. Oh yeah, and 667? WTF? We all know that's really the Number of the Beast CPU .. any Iron Maiden fans (or x-fans) just start humming that song? I know I did ... dammit! -Loki
