Would you care to guess how many - cumulative - Alphas have shipped since the Alpha launch in 1992 and how many Pentium/II/IIIs have shipped since 1993 when the Pentium was launched ? And the PowerPC was rolled out in 1993 as well ! And the MIPS R4000 was rolled out around the same time frame. That COMPARISON will tell you where the market has been - and where it is going. Paul
