Holy Mackeral Batman!!! "RESEARCH ALERT - Tyco $161 target price reiterated TUESDAY, OCTOBER 19, 1999 12:26 PM - Reuters
NEW YORK, Oct 19 (Reuters) - Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown analyst Harriet Baldwin said on Tuesday the low stock price on Tyco International Ltd. (NYSE:TYC) represents a buying opportunity and reiterated her $161 target price on the shares.
-- Baldwin reiterated her strong buy rating on Tyco.
-- "We believe the current weakness is an excellent buying opportunity, even for investors already fully weighted in Tyco," she said in a research note.
-- Tyco was up 2 to 83-1/4 near midday, off a 52-week high of 107-3/4 but above a low of 54-7/8.
-- The stock started to tumble Oct. 12, falling off its high of a week earlier. Traders said the market was reacting to rumors of accounting irregularities at the company.
-- Deutsche Banc Alex said it believes the rumors were baseless, but shares of the Curaid bandage and ADT security systems maker have not recouped.
-- Baldwin sees Tyco earning $4.45 per share for 2000 and expects the company to surpass Wall Street estimates of $0.89 a share when it reports fourth-quarter results next week.
-- "Tyco offers the complete package for investors in our view, with strong internal growth plus cash flow and acquisition acumen," Baldwin said.

You know, its days like these when you feel extra good, shooting fish in a barrel, despite being told its not very sportsmanship-like....I'll feel bad all the way to the bank. I bought 4000 shares at 80, could have gotten it at 78 or so, but why quibble, at $161 thats an easy double...Fish Fry anyone?
I am,
Truly yours,
