>>With MSFT reporting 40 cents vs 34 cents expected we're seeing a big after market rally. DELL trading at $39 1/2. Looks good for tomorrow!<<

Gabriel, This is the best news we have seen in quite some time. Now if Dell can surprise the street when it reports we may have a ballistic recovery. Lets hope for some good news from AOL after the bell tomorrow.

While waiting for Dell to settle down I am following some large options plays listed on quote.com. Often thats on Aol calls, but today at 2:15 1000 contracts of the MSQKR were bought ( I rate it a buy since the stock was at a low point.) Then about 12mm shares of msft traded between 2 PM and market close with the stock rising.

It seemed safe to assume there was prior knowledge of
good Msft earnings, and the ~$275,000 invested in options could easily double by 10AM tomorrow. Easy money
Tomorrow, will watch to see if someone dumps 1/2 or more of
those options when Msft moves up, and if that happens will
sell some of the ones I bought.
Not often as clear a picture as Msft was today, on AOL
it appeared there was selling of covered calls on the 120 and
up and possible buying of calls on the 115 or less strikes.
No need to risk a guess there today with Msft so clear.
