O/T Ok,ok, Slider, I guess I can take the jibes and insults here, as the tone of my question was a bit less than kind, so touche'.... SLIDER AS MANIPULATOR OF INVESTOR SENTIMENT ON MICROCAPS: My comments on your "manipulations", however, I must stick by. Whether by calculation or accident, you have adopted a "talk radio" approach here on the boards. Rush Limbaugh and those before him learned early that you get more listeners by making people angry. In this game, listeners/readers brings with it power. You have adopted his style well, and use it to your advantage. With a thorough knowledge of ones subject (which you clearly have), using 98% truth, just like poker, one can clean up on the other 2%. So, my take regarding your style is that you emulate Rush, which has, indeed, given you more than your 15 minutes of fame here. Just as Rush manipulates the facts, so do you. Only recently has it seemed to backfire on you with the hoots and hollers here and on Yahoo.. (and I guess I didn't help much saying your words here smelled as clean as the Monica Lewinsky cigar..sorry 'bout that, feeling kinda mean that day! LOL) SELF DEFENSE: Since your jibes were an attack, rather than attack back, I will simply defend myself: Indeed, it is true that I do not dedicate my entire life to trading and researching companies as you apparently do. Don't have to be the best, just on the winning team. You want and use the spotlight..enjoy....not for me. I take full responsibility for my actions, wins and losses. Expressing and experiencing the pain of a loss is equally as valid as the revelry you and all of us here communicate with our wins. If you can't deal with that and must call it "whining", then perhaps this is why you communicate in such a hostile angry way.....Try it, just say..."ouch", then move on, sure...I knew ya could.... Perhaps I do not have the extensive knowledge you do, but my instincts are good. I just paid off my house in cash from the help from this thread, (including playing some of the movement you helped generate in the smaller issues, so my hands aren't "clean" either). But, I DID get stuck with RRC/MEXP, cause I wasn't watching. So, I have decided to do the long term thing on them as I agree with you that they can and will be up 50 to 100% in the next year. I can handle the risk and I don't need the money. If you want to say that I am not bright enough or cut out for trading this market, go ahead. If I lose every damn nickle on these (60K) I still made money this year, I don't owe a dime to a soul. But I will agree with you if you say I am not cut out to play the margin... TRADING: By the way, did you trade your HAL? Made 2 points and out. Thanks for the explanation on the financing. Although a bit rude on my part, was an honest question. Dilution in my book is always a much, much more risky way to approach increasing shareholder value in my book. Your explanation does however make it sound a whole lot more "exciting" (VBG)....rugged individualists putting money and fortune on the line going for broke right before a big change in the price of our oil/NG commodities.....I see it as a great "story", and sounds a bit to "good to be true" if you know what I mean. I could play the swing along with you, but don't have the time now to pay close attention. Good luck to you. Hope to have less barb filled exchanges with you in the future. But I will continue to call you on the Rush Limbaugh routine. If you truly do want to "exchange ideas" and "talk stocks" rather than "manipulate the market" then STOP IT NOW. It is extremely obnoxious. Unless you are so insecure as to need the limelight at all costs to your own soul.
