Don, funny you should mention oil-drillers since that was a favorite sector of mine earlier this year. Some of the drillers and smaller oil/gas producers have just gone through chart-falling-off-a-cliff style crashes and so I think it is a bit soon for investors to come back there. Most of them are still running away screaming. Maybe we need a basing period. I'd love to see the action come back there though.

strength in the DRUGs

Hi Donald, appears they may have rotated the drugs too fast. <g> Look at those big rising windows on JNJ, LLY, PFE. Wonder when they will fill them. Pretty soon if recent history is an indicator.

Actually DON, Eric would be able to provide excellent charts and Bullish Percents on all sectors thru DWA..

nothing better than P&F sectors studies...

and fwiw..almost ALL sectors are way oversold...the entire bullish percent charts on P&F have the group totally to the left of center..like near the 20/30 yard line...

so if we do have another downward move of sorts..these groups will be at the very bottom of their respective trading bands....

it's always nice to buy stocks in beaten down sectors , just when they, AND 3-4 P&F index indicators turn UP...powerful position type trading can bring in major rewards..major..

as for any futher downside..from these lower levels i would hazzard a guess it would be smaller than we perceive...

a 15% correction on the DOW is about 9600-9700 so no biggie there..as for the NAZ from 2900, 15% is 435, or 2465, right at the latest recent selloff...i'm already in QQQ puts...

with the amazing volitilty in all markets..200 points could happen in a blink of an eye...

i would think, that would signal to buy in here with both fists full of money..and "this Time", let it all run to Apr...my Birthday week<g> then sell the damn thing, take the rest of the year off, and then buy back in againin OCT??? hey this is easy huh???<VBG>

Donald, did you forget that the bottom in osx is an abandoned baby? Weve already seen the bottom. The baby wont be pierced. As for the sox it also has an abandoned baby to the downside from monday.
