I'm going, if for no other reason than to pick up my LOS LOBOS tickets for the next night ..Joe Henry opening the Lobos show..He's really cool..First time I saw Lobos, several years ago, they totally blew me away..They always start off in the Tejano mode and work it up faster and faster for about 2 hours..changing genre/gears the whole way..By the time they are into the home stretch...NO ONE GETS OUT ALIVE!!! THey f*ckin' rock like no other band on the planet..FOR REAL! Wild horses couldn't keep me from a Lobos show. We have an adult Halloween party that night..I'll just wait til the crowd is drunk on margos and wine and then I'll make my escape, knowing that Kiko is waiting for me across town. Who cares if I'm wearing a Teletubbie costume. Lostwife? Well she can come if she wants, but no whining and no leaving the venue until David Hidalgo is back on the bus.<g> I have "Fever In and Fever Out" and I really like it. Not near as poppy as the new one (what I've heard of it).
