Dear M: Just back from vacation, sure wish I knew how to post a picture as you have done. Dont say white say CHAMPAGNE haha. True though. Actually wheatens go through many color changes until they are about 3 years old. Start out usually mahogany or dark brown then into the champagne type color until finally the full Wheaten color emerges. Have now read 8 books on dogs all in the last month. More than I ever read in my life. haha. JDN
