OT Gary: IMO the MSFT decision could have a major impact on the market as the implications for the central technology of our modern economy are very large. I do believe that for vast majority of stocks this chart rules the roost.

6.5 may hold. If not 7 most assuredly will. To me, this index holds they key to the whole business and will determine the penultimate stock market bottom. BTW Investors intelligence shows bullish sentiment down in the thirties. I've found sentiment indicators to be extremely good indicators of market bottoms. Perhaps I'll start posting some of the more reliable ones if we get a MSFT crash.
