wanmore, i noticed this emotional roller-coaster behavior as well. it seems nobody wants to miss out on calling the bottom. i expect many such calls to be issued in the near future<g>. so far it looks as though a water torture bear market may be underway instead of the more spectacular but ultimately less painful crash. w/regards to the futures tonight, so what? by tomorrow morning they will have to deal with the trade numbers and by all accounts the estimates seem once again too low. regards, hb
