OT OT OT

I own BVSN and VIGN and love 'em - just wouldn't put new money in now although I am not trimming those positions despite significant appreciation. IWOV is classic non-leader getting leader multiple - I'm not interested in IWOV - I have big exposure already.

I own VERT because I want to be long all the diversified B2B players I can get my hands on. I don't view VERT as a great company, just a B2B beneficiary. However, that is enough given what is going on in that segment. Ecommerce is a tremendous event and has structurally changed the economy.

ITWO is a franchise and they are finally going to let their operating margins go. I think they hit an inflection point with Q3 results as the company was in massive transition from client/server supply chain to ebusiness intelligence. They may still be a 'show me the numbers' stock rather than a web sympathy play but that will happen as visibility is up smartly and I want to be long the key internet software infrastructure players and I view ITWO as one of them. The chart looks great and I see $70+ by next reporting period. Come to think of it, it reminds me of another stock I own (MERQ). MERQ was considered a y2k testing company which has morphed over the last year into an ebiz company. I consider MERQ a franchise for web testing with an embedded call option on web-based performance monitoring. ITWO launched its intelligent e-biz strategy in Q2 and showed progress in Q3. Q3 was also the first time in a while that analysts didn't lower earnings estimates. I first bought stock after Q2's big selloff figuring there wasn't any new info but then sold it as Q3 appeared to be a tough quarter and if they missed it, the stock would have tanked and the wheels could have come off (more salespeople leaving etc...). I therfore decided to wait to get a read on Q3 and got it a few weeks ago. Then they put up a solid quarter and the worst of the transition went into the rear-view mirror (kind of like MERQ's selloff and recovery post Q199). If ITWO pulls a MERQ, the stock will be $91 by January. I think it will happen.
