BrianValentine, I have never found any place in the Bible that says that Jesus demands us to beg for salvation. My understanding is that salvation is given freely to all who ask. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. This does not sound like an egomaniac who demands that we beg.
