Dipy pulled this (mine) sentence out of context. But American democracy with all its imperfections is better than India's . This is his answer to the post Your statement is a strong contender for the "understatement of the year"<g> My Answer to this post. Dipy My post is below. Read it again. Your one-sentence answer does not do justice. If you have any balanced perception you will answer the questions I posed. Are you darwinian or creationist. No guts. Just talk about India. What are you afraid of? Answer the questions, man. Answer the post sentence by sentence. No guts man. Some would call you a coward. Now who is the monkey? Dipy: Are you Darwinian or Creationist? Do you believe in fact or fiction? Every species, and process have an evolutionary compulsion. Human species took millions of years to evolve to this stage. A process also goes through evolutionary steps. Those initial steps may be wobbly, but eventually it comes to a desirable point. It took America so long to come to a system of Government and it is still not perfect. America had its share of Lynchings, slavery, Japanese internment, syphilis experimentation on blacks, Wacos, Davidians, Campus killings, Pacs, Soft money, different strokes for different races and more of I-can-go-on. But American democracy with all its imperfections is better than India's . I faced what blacks faced, when I traveled in the south. But I am not bitter. There is more to America than what I experienced. Did you hear me tell you all the experiences of blacks and colored races here. NO. Would you compare the Aryan nation to Bajrang Dal, VHP and RSS to KKK and Hooded hoods. What I am trying to say is that in India the political process and the national psyche are undergoing an evolutionary process. You are blind to the time factor that is necessary for changes to take place. You want an instant baby. It takes 9 months. Don't make any flippant remarks. You are addressing India in the same tone that you would have addressed America in the last century and before 1960s. Have you heard of Tammany Hall. What was that? Just mess hall for the officers? Think before you say anything. You don't have a perspective and world-wide vision. You have a tunnel vision and some myopia. You need corrective lenses of broad-mindedness and an awakening to the history of all nations. Be kind and you will die an old man.
