Not so, friend Ish, although it depends on the kind of road. It is about 30 minutes on highway to the district line, from my house. Moderate traffic, it takes another half hour to get to about the Capitol, which is not, I assure you, 2 blocks from the boundary, but in center city, maybe 10 miles. Light traffic, and breaks on lights, another 15 minutes to the Capitol. Heavy traffic, another 45 minutes, with an outside chance of an hour (say, if there has been road construction).....I suppose at the apogee of rush hour, and with adverse conditions, like road maintenance, it might even approach an hour and a half from the boundary, but it is rare.....
