A site locater from ATC wants to lease 10,000 sq.ft. from me for 350.00 a month for 25 years. They want to build a 250 foot tower. Do you or anyone else know the going rates for leases? Sounds like a good deal for them. Regards, Marc

pfriend,

New to this thread and business, so can I ask a couple of questions? From this release:

-American Tower Corporation (NYSE:AMT) today announced the signing of a definitive agreement with AT&T (NYSE:T) to acquire approximately 1,942 microwave towers and build 1,000 new wireless communications sites for AT&T Wireless Services over the next five years.

Is AMT buying the sites, building the antenna's, and leasing them back to AT&T? Once a tower is built, can other network providers utilize them? Are these straight leases or are the companies such as AT&T billed for traffic? Trying to get a handle on this group.

Thanks much in advance.

Joe
