Oh you philistine you. When I was five years old MY next door neighbor invited me to HER birthday party and SHE had a Barbie cake like that. Even though I hated Barbie (and used to run her over with my Tonkas and pretend she was an accident victim) I still thought that cake was tres tres cool. We also got to see Oliver! (the movie) at the movie theatre- which was also a big treat for a five year old. I begin to question your eliteness.

one of those prissy cute little blonde girls... Hey, I remember those! I was the perennial fat kid with glasses and they invariably savaged me. They never changed very much right through adulthood as I recollect. Probably still haven't.

this huge grotesque mass of pink gooey frosting that resembled an anaemic miscarriage... Well. Thank goodness I elected to skip the raspberry jelly donut this morning.
